What To Wear When Hiking
Now that the warm weather is slowly making its way to us we are doing what we can to take advantage of it. After being holed up inside of the home and out of the cold we are eager to go walking and enjoy the fresh air. What better way to do this than to find a great trail and go hiking for a couple of hours.
Hiking is a great thing to do when you need time to yourself or when you are wanting to spend some quality time with your family. In order to do this without feeling miserable you need to be wearing the right type of clothing. The most important thing that you will need to get are womens hiking boots that will fit your feet perfectly.
You need to try a few pairs on and make sure that you are going to get something that will not give your feet blisters or make them sweat. They need to be thick enough to keep dirt, bugs, and water out. However, they needs to also be slightly tall in order to support your ankle and keep insects out.
Make sure that you wear shorts and a short sleeved shirt. Also wear thick socks that go above your shoes. It is not wise to wear socks that only go as far up as the ankle. This could leave your feet weak to the animals and insects that are all around the woods. Also make sure you are wearing sun tan lotion and bug spray.
